Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 21:96

Malik ibn Isma'il narrated to us, Ya'la ibn al-Harith narrated to us, he said: Jami' ibn Shaddad narrated it to me, he said: When al-Aswad ibn Yazid al-Nakha'i would hear the thunder, he would say: "Exalted is He whom the thunder glorifies with His praise, and the angels [glorify] out of fear of Him."
