Waki’ narrated to us, from Siwar ibn Maymun, who said: A sheikh of ours from ‘Abd al-Qays, who was called Bashir ibn Ghawth, narrated to me, saying: I heard ‘Ali saying: "When the year one hundred and forty-five arrives, the sea will withhold its side. And when the year one hundred and fifty arrives, the land will withhold its side. And when the year one hundred and sixty arrives, the sinking (into the earth), the transformation (into animals), and the tremors will appear."
