Waki’ narrated to us, from Sufyan and Mis’ar, from Ash’ath ibn Abi al-Sha’tha’, from Raja’ ibn Haywah, from Mu’adh, who said: "You have been tested with the trial of adversity and you were patient, and you will soon be tested with the trial of prosperity. And the thing I fear most for you is the trial of women, when they adorn themselves with gold and wear the garments of Ash-Sham. They exhaust the rich and burden the poor with what he cannot find."
