Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 37:187

Ibn ‘Ulayyah narrated to us, from Yunus, from ‘Ali, who said: My father said to me: "The people of this knot (i.e., this settlement/group) have perished. By the Lord of the Ka’bah, they have perished and caused many to perish. As for Allah, I do not grieve for them, but I grieve for those whom they cause to perish from the Ummah of Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him."
