Abu Usama narrated to us, he said: Hisham narrated to us, from his father, that the people of Syria used to fight Ibn al-Zubayr and shout at him, "O son of the woman with the two girdles!" Ibn al-Zubayr said, "That is a complaint whose shame is far from you." Asma' said, "Did they taunt you with it?" He said, "Yes." She said, "By Allah, he is more deserving of it."
