Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 37:241

Ubayd Allah ibn Musa narrated to us, from Shayban, from al-A’mash, from ‘Amr ibn Murrah, from Zadhan, who said: I heard Hudhayfah say: "A time will surely come upon you in which the best among you is the one who does not enjoin good and does not forbid evil." A man from the people said: "Will a time come upon us when we see evil and do not change it?" He said: "By Allah, you will surely do it." He said: Then Hudhayfah began pointing with his finger to his eye, saying: "You have lied, by Allah," three times. The man said: "Then I have lied, and he has spoken the truth."
