Hadith 37:253

Muhammad ibn Musa al-Anazi narrated to us, from Jabala bint Musaffah, she said: Malik ibn Damra bequeathed his weapons to the mujahideen of Banu Damra, [stipulating] that they should not fight with them against the people of Prophethood. His brother, who was at his head, said: "O my brother, at the time of death you say this?" He said: "It is as I said." He said: "Then are we permitted, if your children are in need, to benefit from them?" He said: "Yes." The weapons were then taken, and nothing remained of them except a spear. She said: A man came from that expedition which marched toward al-Husayn and said: "O son of Malik, O Musa, lend me your father's spear so that I may strike with it." He said: "O slave girl, give him the spear." A woman from his family said: "O Musa, do you not remember the will of your father?" She said: The man had already passed by with the spear. She said: So he caught up with the man and took the spear from him and broke it.
