Hadith 37:259

Muhammad ibn Ubayd narrated to us, he said: Sharhabil ibn Mudrik al-Ju'fi narrated to me, from Abdullah ibn Yahya al-Hadrami, from his father, that he traveled with Ali and he was the keeper of his water vessel. When he reached Nineveh, while he was heading to Siffin, he called out: "Patience, Aba Abd Allah! Patience, Aba Abd Allah!" I said: "What is it, Aba Abd Allah?" He said: "I entered upon the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and his eyes were overflowing. I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, what has caused your eyes to overflow? Has someone angered you?' He said: 'Gabriel stood up from beside me and informed me that al-Husayn will be killed by the bank of the Euphrates.' So I could not control my eyes from overflowing."
