Waki’ narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Abu Qays, from Huzayl, who said: Abdullah said: "You are the people most similar in conduct and guidance to the Children of Israel. You will surely follow their path, feather by feather, and sandal by sandal." Abdullah said: "Indeed, some eloquence is magic."
