Hadith 37:274

Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, he said: Sufyan ibn Husayn informed us, from Hisham ibn Yusuf, from Awf ibn Malik, who said: I sought permission to enter upon the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he said: "Enter." I said: "Shall I enter with all of me or part of me?" He said: "Enter with all of you." So I entered upon him while he was performing ablution in a measured manner. He said: "O Awf ibn Malik, [count] six [things] before the Hour: the death of your Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace—take one [as a sign]—and it was as if my heart was plucked from its place; and the conquest of Bayt al-Maqdis (Jerusalem); and a death that will seize you, causing you to die rapidly like the dying of sheep; and that wealth will become abundant until a man is given one hundred dinars and he is dissatisfied with it; and the conquest of the city of disbelief; and a truce that will be between you and the Banu al-Asfar (the Byzantines). Then they will come to you under eighty banners, under each banner twelve thousand, and they will be more prone to treachery than you."
