Waki’ narrated to us, from ‘Ubayd ibn Tufayl, from Shadhan, from Rib’i ibn Hirash, who said: Hudhayfah said: "You will certainly follow the way of the Children of Israel, step by step, just as a sandal matches a sandal, and an arrow feather matches an arrow feather. Except that I do not know whether you will worship the calf or not."
