Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 37:288

Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Al-A’mash narrated to us, from Shaqiq, from Hudhayfah, who said: "The hypocrites who are among you today are worse than those who were during the time of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace." He said: I said, "O Abu Abdullah, how is that?" He said: "Indeed, those used to conceal their hypocrisy, while these ones declare it."
