Abu Usama narrated to us, he said: Sufyan narrated to us, he said: Ibrahim ibn Muhammad ibn al-Muntashir narrated to us, from his father, he said: Hudhayfah said: "Indeed, the people of Basra will not open a door of guidance, nor will they leave a door of misguidance. And indeed, the flood has been lifted from the entire earth, except from Basra."
