Waki’ narrated to us, from ‘Imran, from Abu Mijlaz, who said: ‘Umar intended not to leave a single one of the garrison cities (amsar) without visiting it. Ka’b said to him: "Do not go to Iraq, for in it are nine-tenths of evil."
