Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 37:309

Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Shamir, from Shahr ibn Hawshab, from Ka'b, who said: The Qur'an and the Sultanate will fight each other. He said: The Sultan will trample upon the ear of the Qur'an, until it escapes from him.
