Hadith 37:31
Waki’ narrated to us, from Sufyan, from al-Harith ibn Hudayrah, from Zayd ibn Wahb, who said: It was said to Hudhayfah, "What are the pauses of the tribulation (fitnah) and what are its outpourings?" He said, "Its outpourings are the drawing of the sword, and its pauses are the sheathing of it."
حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن الحارث بن حضيرة عن زيد بن وهب قال قيل لحذيفة ما وقفات الفتنة وما بعثاتها قال بعثاتها سل السيف ووقفاتها إغماده
