Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 37:312

Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Al-A’mash narrated to us, from Sulayman ibn Maysarah, from Tariq ibn Shihab, from Zayd ibn Sawhan, who said: Salman said to me: "How will you be when the Qur’an and the Sultan (authority) fight each other?" I said: "Then I will be with the Qur’an." He said: "You are a good provider (of an answer) then." Then Abu Qurrah—and he used to hate tribulations—said: "Then I will sit in my house." Salman said: "Even if you were in the furthest of nine houses, you would be with one of the two factions."
