Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 37:318

Mu'awiyah ibn Hisham narrated to us, he said: Sufyan narrated to us, from Jabalah, from Amir ibn Matar, who said: I was with Hudhayfah, and he said: "It is soon that you will see them parting from their religion just as a woman parts her private parts. So hold fast to what you are upon today, for it is the clear path. How will you be, O Amir ibn Matar, when the people take a path and the Quran takes a path? With which of the two will you be?" I said: "With the Quran; I will live with it and I will die with it." He said: "Then you are [truly] yourself, if so."
