Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 37:343

Muhammad ibn al-Hasan narrated to us, he said: Abd Rabbih narrated to us, from al-Hasan ibn Amr al-Fuqaymi, from Yahya ibn Hani, from al-Harith ibn Qays, he said: Abdullah ibn Mas’ud said to me: "Would you like for Allah to place you in the center of Paradise?" I said: "May I be made your ransom, and do I desire anything other than that?" He said: "You must adhere to the community (al-jama’ah), or the community of the people."
