Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, from Jarir ibn Hazim, who said: A sheikh from the people of Mecca narrated to me, saying: I saw Ibn Umar during the days of Ibn al-Zubayr, and he entered the mosque, and there were weapons [present]. He began to say, "You have made the world too great, you have made the world too great," until he touched the Black Stone.
