Hadith 37:42
Abu Khalid al-Ahmar narrated to us, from Humayd, from Abu al-Mutawakkil al-Naji, from Abu Sa’id al-Khudri, who said: "Beware of the fighting of blindness (qital ‘amiyyah) and the death of ignorance (mitat jahiliyyah)." He said: I said, "What is the fighting of blindness?" He said: "When it is said, 'O so-and-so! O sons of so-and-so!'" He said: I said, "What is the death of ignorance?" He said: "That you die while there is no Imam over you."
حدثنا أبو خالد الأحمر عن حميد عن أبي المتوكل الناجي عن أبي سعيد الخدري قال إياكم وقتال عمية وميتة جاهلية قال قلت ما قتال عمية قال إذا قيل يا لفلان يا بني فلان قال قلت ما ميتة جاهلية قال أن تموت ولا إمام عليك
