Hadith 37:44
Abu Khalid al-Ahmar narrated to us, from Yahya ibn Sa'id, from Abdullah ibn Amir, who said: When the people diverged in criticizing Uthman, my father stood to pray at night, then he slept. He said: It was said to him, "Rise and ask Allah to protect you from the tribulation from which He protected His righteous servants." He said: So he rose, and he became ill, and he was not seen going out until he died.
حدثنا أبو خالد الأحمر عن يحيى بن سعيد عن عبد الله بن عامر قال لما تشعب الناس في الطعن على عثمان قام أبي يصلي من الليل ثم نام قال فقيل له قم فاسأل الله أن يعيذك من الفتنة التي أعاذ منها عباده الصالحين قال فقام فمرض فما رئي خارجا حتى مات
