Zayd ibn al-Hubab narrated to us, he said: Musa ibn Ubaydah informed us, he said: Zayd ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Salamah Abu Salamah informed me, from Abu al-Rabab and a companion of his, that they both heard Abu Dharr supplicating. He said: So we said to him, "We saw you pray in this land a prayer, the standing, bowing, and prostration of which we have never seen longer. Then, when you finished, you raised your hands and supplicated, and you sought refuge from the day of Tuesday and the day of the 'Awrah (shame/exposure)." He said: "What did you find strange?" So we informed him. He said: "As for the day of Tuesday, two groups of Muslims will meet, and they will kill one another. And the day of the 'Awrah is that women from the Muslim women will be taken captive, and their shins will be uncovered; so whichever of them has the largest shin, she will be bought based on the size of her shin. So I supplicated that I do not reach this time, and perhaps you two will reach it." He said: Then Uthman was killed, and Mu'awiyah ibn Abi Artat sent [an army] to Yemen, and he took captive women from the Muslim women, and they were made to stand in the market.
