Waki’ narrated to us, from Fudayl ibn Marzuq, from ‘Imran ibn Zabyan, from Hakim ibn Sa’d, who said: When Sulayman stood up and displayed what he displayed, I said to Abu Yahya, "Is this the Mahdi who is mentioned?" He said, "No, nor is he the one who resembles him."
