Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from Hajjaj al-Sawwaf, from Humayd ibn Hilal, from Ya'la ibn al-Walid, from Jundab al-Khayr, who said: We came to Hudhayfah when the Egyptians marched toward Uthman, and we said: "These people have marched toward this man, so what do you say?" He said: "They will kill him, by Allah." We said: "Where is he?" He said: "In Paradise, by Allah." We said: "Then where are his killers?" He said: "In the Fire, by Allah."
