Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 37:574

Ubayd Allah ibn Musa narrated to us, he said: Shayban informed us, from al-A'mash, from Isma'il ibn Raja', from Sakhr ibn al-Walid, from Juz' ibn Bukayr al-'Absi, who said: Hudhayfah came to Uthman to bid him farewell or to greet him. When he turned to leave, he (Uthman) said: "Bring him back." When he came, he said: "What has reached me about you behind my back?" He said: "By Allah, I have not hated you since I loved you, and I have not deceived you since I advised you." He said: "You are more truthful than them and more righteous, go." When he turned to leave, he said: "Bring him back." He said: "What has reached me about you behind my back?" Hudhayfah gestured with his hand like this: "What has reached me about you behind my back? Yes, by Allah, you will surely be driven out like the driving of an ox, then you will surely be slaughtered like the slaughtering of a camel." He (Uthman) was seized by a tremor because of that. He sent for Mu'awiyah, and he was brought, pushing (his way through). He said: "Do you know what Hudhayfah said? 'By Allah, you will surely be driven out like the driving of an ox, and you will surely be slaughtered like the slaughtering of a camel.'" He said: "It began with Uthman."
