Ghundar narrated to us, from Shu'bah, from Sa'd ibn Ibrahim, that he heard his father say: I saw 'Abd al-Rahman ibn 'Awf at Mina, his head shaved, weeping. He was saying: "I did not fear that I would remain until 'Uthman is killed."
