Hadith 37:81
Sharik narrated to us, from Abu Husayn, from al-Sha'bi, that a man said, "O for Dabba!" He said: So he wrote to Umar. He said: So Umar wrote to him, "Punish him," or he said, "Discipline him, for Dabba has never warded off any evil from them at all, nor has he ever brought any good to them at all."
حدثنا شريك عن أبي حصين عن الشعبي أن رجلا قال يا لضبة قال فكتب إلى عمر قال فكتب إليه عمر أن عاقبه أو قال أدبه فان ضبة لم يدفع عنهم سوءا قط ولم يجر إليهم خيرا قط
