Hushaym narrated to us, from 'Abbad, from Ibn Sirin, who said: The house in which the Qur'an is recited, the angels attend it, and the devils depart from it. It becomes spacious for its inhabitants, and its goodness increases. And the house in which the Qur'an is not recited, the devils attend it, and the angels depart from it. It becomes constricted for its inhabitants, and its goodness decreases.
