Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 22:133

Abdullah ibn Numayr narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Ishaq narrated to us, from Amr ibn Shu’ayb, from his father, from his grandfather, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "The Quran will be represented on the Day of Resurrection as a man. Then a man will be brought who had carried it, but he opposed its command. It will be represented as an adversary against him, and it will say: 'O Lord, You entrusted me to him, and he was the worst of carriers. He transgressed my limits, neglected my obligatory duties, committed acts of disobedience against me, and abandoned my obedience.' It will continue to cast arguments against him until it is said: 'Your affair is with him.' So it will take him by the hand, and it will not release him until it throws him upon his nostrils into the Fire. Then a righteous man will be brought who had carried it and preserved its command. It will be represented as an advocate for him, and it will say: 'O Lord, You entrusted me to him, and he was the best of carriers. He preserved my limits, acted upon my obligatory duties, avoided my disobedience, and followed my obedience.' It will continue to cast arguments for him until it is said: 'Your affair is with him.' So it will take him by the hand, and it will not release him until it clothes him in a garment of silk brocade, places upon him the crown of sovereignty, and gives him a cup of wine to drink."
