Hadith 22:178

Hussain bin Ali narrated to us, from Za'idah, from Mansur, who said: Abdullah said: "If a man were to spend the night carrying [weapons/supplies] on fast horses in the way of Allah, and a man were to spend the night reciting the Book of Allah, the one remembering Allah would be the better of the two." He said: And Abdullah bin Umar said: "If a man were to spend the night spending dinar after dinar and dirham after dirham, and carrying [weapons/supplies] on fast horses in the way of Allah, and a man were to spend the night reciting the Book of Allah until morning, with it being accepted from him, and I were to spend the night reciting the Book of Allah until morning, with it being accepted from me—I would not love that his deed were mine in exchange for my deed."
