Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 22:19

Waki’ narrated to us, from Khalid ibn Dinar, from Abu al-‘Aliyah, who said: "Learn the Quran five verses by five verses, for the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to take it five by five."
