Hafs narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Ibrahim, who said: A man asked Ibn Mas'ud about: "And those who believed and their descendants followed them in faith," and the man kept repeating it and repeating it, and he [Ibn Mas'ud] did not say: "It is not like that."
