Abu Usama narrated to us, from Shu'bah, from 'Abd al-Malik ibn Maysarah, who said: I heard al-Nazzal saying: 'Abdullah said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, saying: "Those who were before you differed regarding it, so it destroyed them. Therefore, do not differ regarding it," meaning the Qur'an.
