Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 22:26

Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn ‘Amr narrated to us, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) entered the mosque and heard the recitation of a man. He said: "Who is this?" It was said: "Abdullah ibn Qays." He said: "Indeed, this one has been given the flutes of the family of David."
