Zayd ibn al-Hubab narrated to us, he said: Farwah ibn Khalid al-Sadusi narrated to me, he said: Abu al-Zubayr narrated to me, from Jabir, he said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "A people will come who recite the Quran, but it will not pass beyond their collarbones. They will pass through the religion just as the arrow passes through the hunted game."
