Sahl ibn Yusuf narrated to us, from Humayd al-Tawil, from Mu'awiyah ibn Qurrah, from Abu al-Mughirah, who said: A man recited in the presence of Ibn Mas'ud and said, "I seek refuge in Allah, the All-Knowing, from the accursed Satan." Abdullah [Ibn Mas'ud] said, "Strip the Qur'an [of additions]."
