Al-Fadl ibn Dukayn narrated to us, he said: Al-Walid ibn Jumay' narrated to me, he said: A man narrated to me that Khalid ibn al-Walid led the people in prayer at al-Hira. Then he recited from various surahs. Then he turned to us when he finished and said: "Jihad has kept us busy from learning the Quran."
