Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 22:364

Ali ibn Mushir narrated to us, from Dawud, from al-Sha’bi, from Alqama, from Abdullah, who said: "When you are in doubt regarding the 'ya' and the 'ta', then make them 'ya', for the Quran is masculine (dhakar), so make it masculine (fadhakkiruhu)."
