Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 22:381

Hussain bin Ali narrated to us, from Za'idah, from Hisham, from Ibn Sirin, who said: Gabriel used to present the Quran to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, once every year in Ramadan. When it was the year in which he (the Prophet) passed away, he presented it to him twice.
