Ibn Numayr narrated to us, he said: Zakariya ibn Abi Za’idah narrated to us, from Firas, from al-Sha’bi, from Masruq, from ‘Aishah, she said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) used to present the Qur’an to Gabriel once every year. When it was the year in which he passed away, he presented it to him twice.
