Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Al-A’mash narrated to us, from Sulayman ibn Maysarah, from Tariq ibn Shihab, he said: Salman said to Zayd ibn Suhan: "How will you be when the Qur’an and the Sultan fight each other?" He said: "If that happens, I will be with the Qur’an." He said: "Yes, for Zayd, if you are [like that]."
