Ishaq ibn Sulayman narrated to us, from Abu Sinan, from Abu Ishaq, from Amr ibn Sharhabil, from Abdullah: "The *nashi'at al-layl* (the rising of the night)," he said, "is in the Abyssinian language: standing [in prayer] at night."
