Hadith 27:133
Husayn ibn Ali narrated to us, from Za'idah, from Husayn, from Habib ibn Abi Thabit, who said: A man came to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and said: "O Messenger of Allah, I have come from a tribe for whom no shepherd provides provisions, and for whom no stallion stirs. So, supplicate to Allah for us." He said: "O Allah, give drink to Your beasts and Your lands, and spread Your mercy." He said: Then he supplicated and said: "O Allah, give us a rain that is aiding, wholesome, fertile, good, abundant, immediate, not delayed, beneficial, not harmful." He said: He did not descend [from the pulpit] until no one came from any direction except that they said: "We have been rained upon, and we have been given life."
