Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 27:164

Yahya ibn Ubayd narrated to us, he said: Abu Sufyan narrated to us, from Abdullah ibn Malik, from Makhul, who said: Umar had a right [a debt] upon a man from the Jews, so he came to him seeking it. He met him, and Umar said to him: "No, by the One who chose Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, over mankind, I will not leave you while I am seeking something from you." The Jew said: "Allah did not choose Muhammad over mankind." So Umar slapped him and said: "Between me and you is Abu al-Qasim [the Prophet]." He [the Jew] said: "Umar said: 'No, by the One who chose Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, over mankind.' I said to him: 'Allah did not choose Muhammad over mankind,' so he slapped me." He [the Prophet] said: "As for you, O Umar, satisfy him for his slap. Yes, O Jew, Allah named Himself with two names with which He named my nation: He is the Peace (al-Salam) and He named my nation the Muslims; and He is the Believer (al-Mu'min) and He named my nation the believers." "Yes, O Jew, you sought a day, and a day was stored for us; today is for us, and tomorrow is for you, and after that is for the Christians." "Yes, O Jew, you are the first, and we are the last, the precursors on the Day of Resurrection." "Yes, Paradise is forbidden to the prophets until I enter it, and it is forbidden to the nations until my nation enters it."
