Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 27:170

Ubayd Allah ibn Musa narrated to us, from Isra'il, from Simak, that he heard Jabir ibn Samurah saying: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to comb the front of his hair and his beard. When he would apply oil and then comb it, it would not be apparent. He had a thick beard. A man said, "Was his face like a sword?" He replied, "No, rather it was like the sun and the moon, round." And I saw the seal between his shoulders like a pigeon's egg, resembling his body.
