Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 27:177

Abu Bakr ibn Ayyash narrated to us, he said: Asim narrated to us, from Zirr, from Abdullah, who said: The *Awwah* is the one who supplicates. He intends by that: "Indeed, Abraham was surely an *Awwah* (tender-hearted/supplicating)."
