Mu'awiyah ibn Hisham narrated to us, he said: Sufyan informed us, from Zayd ibn Aslam, from 'Abdullah ibn 'Ubayd ibn 'Umayr, from his father, who said: Musa said: "O Lord, You mentioned Ibrahim, Ishaq, and Ya'qub, then You gave them that." He said: "Indeed, Ibrahim did not weigh anything except that he chose Me. And Ishaq offered his soul to Me, so he is more generous with it than anything else. And Ya'qub, I did not test him with a trial except that his good opinion of Me increased."
