Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 27:232

Ubayd Allah ibn Musa narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Amr ibn Murrah, from Abdullah ibn al-Harith, who said: When the whale swallowed him and cast him out onto the land, he heard it glorifying [Allah], so it stirred him to glorify [Allah].
