Jarir narrated to us, from Mansur, from Mujahid, from Ubayd ibn Umayr, who said: Isa ibn Maryam, peace be upon him, would not save his dinner for his lunch, nor his lunch for his dinner. He used to say: "Indeed, with every people is their provision." He would wear hair (garments), eat from the trees, and sleep wherever evening overtook him.
